Here Comes The Kraken

Here Comes The Kraken is a Mexican metal band from Aguascalientes, formed in 2008 by Tore González (guitar), Deivis González (drums), Jose Manuel “Tts” (vocals), David Alfredo “Freddy” (bass), and Fer Castro (guitar).

With a solid trajectory and a bold approach from the beginning, HCTK became one of the first Mexican bands of the genre to tour throughout the country, building a fanbase in a style that was just starting to resonate in Mexico. Over time, they expanded their impact internationally with tours across Mexico, Europe, the United States, South America, and Japan.

Their discography includes five releases: Here Comes the Kraken, Hate, Greed and Death, The Omen, Here Comes the Kraken (Reissue), and H.C.T.K.

They recently released a series of singles — “King of Sorrow,” “Downder,” “Freaks,” and “Arranque” — showcasing the band’s versatility. This led up to the powerful AMEN I: Genesis and AMEN II: Apocalipsis, a prelude to their upcoming project AMEN, where they display a musical maturity that fuses brutality, introspection, and emotional evolution.

They have shared the stage with world-class bands such as Slipknot, Megadeth, Korn, Avenged Sevenfold, Carnifex, and Behemoth.

Throughout more than a decade, the band has overcome challenges such as accidents, thefts, and equipment losses, while staying true to their purpose and sonic essence.
